As a staff member, you can manually set the same PIN or code for multiple locks after installation. This process is different from setting an Admin PIN — it’s used for guest or operational access rather than administrative control.

Step 1: Open the Spaces App

  1. Open the Spaces app on your device.

  2. Go to the specific door name where you want to manage PINs.

  3. Select the PIN tab.

  4. Tap the “+” (plus) button to add a new PIN or code.

Step 2: Choose a PIN/Code Type

You’ll see several options for PIN types:

  • One-Time PIN – Works only once for a single access.

  • Random PIN – Generates a unique random code.

  • 4-Digit PIN – Creates a short 4-digit access code.

Select the one that best suits your needs.

Step 3: Set Valid Date and Time

After selecting a PIN type, set the start and end date/time for when the PIN should work for that door.
This allows you to control exactly when access is active.

Step 4: Connectivity Requirements

Depending on the PIN type, your lock’s connection status matters:

  • For 4-Digit PINs:
Your locks must be online via GokiAir or Wi-Fi to generate them remotely.
If the lock is offline, you need to be physically close to the lock and connected via Bluetooth to create the PIN.

  • For One-Time or Random PINs:
These can be generated without the lock being online or nearby.

Step 5: Manual Process for Each Lock

Currently, manual PIN setup must be done individually for each lock.
There isn’t an option to automatically apply the same PIN to all locks at once.

Summary

  • You can manually set the same PIN for each lock one by one.

  • 4-digit PINs require an online or Bluetooth connection.

  • Other PIN types can be created anytime, even offline.

  • Admin PINs are separate and serve a different purpose.
