Step-by-step instructions to replace the SmartLock Pro Wi-Fi module.

Step 1: Remove the old module

1. Locate the blue panel on the Smart Lock Pro.

2. Remove the four screws securing the blue panel using a Phillips screwdriver or a drill (be careful if using a drill).

3. Remove the privacy switch antenna.

Step 2: Unscrew the Wi-Fi module

1. Locate the two smaller screws holding the Wi-Fi module in place.

2. Use a Phillips or handheld screwdriver to carefully remove these screws without damaging the module.

Step 3: Install the new Wi-Fi module

1. Grab the new Wi-Fi module.

2. Plug in the privacy switch (this may be a bit fiddly).

3. Ensure the cables are out of the way to avoid damage or interference with the privacy switch.

Step 4: Secure the new Wi-Fi module

1. Pick up the blue plate with the indent facing towards you (this ensures proper alignment).

2. Place the blue plate over the Wi-Fi module.

3. Secure the blue plate with the four screws you removed earlier.

4. Secure the Wi-Fi module using the two smaller screws.

Step 5: Reinstall the Smart Lock Pro on your door.

Step 6: Update the firmware

1. Open the Spaces app and go to the room where the lock is installed.

2. Click on the three dots on the top right-hand side to access Settings.

3. Select "Update firmware" and ensure you're running the latest version.

Step 7: Sync the battery and check Wi-Fi signal

1. Sync the battery to ensure proper functioning and accurate status.

2. Confirm that your Smart Lock Pro is connected to Wi-Fi and has a good signal.

That's it! Your Wi-Fi module should now be successfully changed, and your Smart Lock Pro should be functioning properly.
