Guest OTP (One-Time Password) verification is an important feature in Goki that ensures secure access for guests. Below, we explain how the OTP process works and how you can manage it.

Delivery of OTP Codes

When a guest is required to verify their identity using an OTP code, the code is sent to the email address associated with the reservation in your Property Management System (PMS). This ensures that the verification process is tied to the correct reservation details and email address.

Disabling Guest OTP Verification

If you prefer not to use the Guest OTP Verification feature, you can disable it through the Goki Dashboard. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Goki Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Go to Basic Information.

  4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.

  5. Locate the Guest OTP Verification option and toggle it off.

Disabling this feature removes the additional verification step for guests. By understanding and managing the Guest OTP Verification feature, you can ensure a secure and customizable experience for your guests.
