1. Open the Key Details
Go to the Keys tab.
Find the Key you created for the guest or staff member.
Open the Key Details page.
Tap the three-dot menu.
Select Share Credential.
2. When the Share Credential Button Is Active
The Share Credential button is active only when a credential exists.
If a Door Code or SmartKey has already been generated → the button is active.
If no credential exists → the button is disabled, and the system shows only the Alternative Share option.
2. Credentials that activate the button:
Door Code
SmartKey
When either is available, staff can resend them.
3. Sharing Credentials
When you tap Share Credential, a modal opens showing:
The guest or staff member’s email (if available)
The guest or staff member’s phone number (if available)
You can choose:
Send to the saved email
Send to the saved phone number
Or enter an alternative email
Or enter an alternative phone number
After selecting or entering the destination, tap Send to deliver the credentials.
4. Important Notes
Automatic emails are sent correctly when credentials are first added.
These messages include:
Door Code
SmartKey link
The Share Credential option only appears when a credential already exists.
If no credential exists, the system defaults to the Alternative Share input.
Staff can always manually send credentials using a new email or phone number.
Manual sending respects the 3-minute rate limit for re-delivery.
No external services (like Mailgun or Twilio) are required — messaging is handled internally.
For sending Email and SMS automatically, make sure the send notification toggles are on from Customization
