After successfully installing your SmartLocker by following the instructions provided here, the next step is to connect it to the bed using the Spaces App.
Connect a SmartLocker to the bed
Open Spaces App
Go to the "Common" Section
Add the new Common Area
Choose "not connected" room
Stay close to the Smart Locker and tap on the screen to engage.
Select the device - Locker Lock
Press the SmartLocker's name with the status "ready"
Once this process is completed, press the button "Done"
While connecting the SmartLocker, an admin PIN will be set automatically, or you will be asked to enter one
Go to the common area settings> click on the 3-dots (top-right) and turn on the toggle "Use as Locker"
The final step is to map the beds to the Smart Locker, here's how you can do it:
Choose the Room
Click "Customization" from the three dots
Click "Beds" Section
Choose the bed and activate the Locker toggle
Locker Lock Setup Scenarios
When a room has lockers installed, there are two ways to set up access, depending on whether guests should share access or have individual access to each locker.
Scenario 1 — Shared locker access (all guests open all lockers)
Use this when all guests in the room should have access to all lockers.
In the Spaces App, go to the room settings (e.g. Room X) → Customization → Beds section
Assign each locker as a bed under that room
Goki will treat the lockers like a common area — access is automatically generated for all beds assigned to the lock
All guests in Room X will receive a PIN that opens every locker assigned to that room
Scenario 2 — Individual locker access (each guest gets their own locker)
Use this when each guest should have a separate PIN for their own locker, but all guests share access to the main room door.
Create each locker as its own separate room in the Goki dashboard
Set the main room door as a Common Area
Assign the main room door as a common area to each locker room
Each locker room generates its own separate access PIN for the assigned guest
The main room door uses the same shared Common Area PIN — all locker guests can open it with the same code
Notes:
In Scenario 1, all guests share the same access — use this for dorm-style setups where guests don't need private lockers
In Scenario 2, each guest has a private locker PIN but shares the room door PIN — use this for hostel setups where lockers are assigned per bed
GokiAir must be connected and the Generate Access automation must be enabled for 4-digit PINs to work in both scenarios
