GuestSpace guide and integration with Portal

GuestSpace + Portal

1. Introduction

GuestSpace enables hotels to automate their front desk and cater to next-generation travelers with a web-based digital guest journey, Unified Inbox, and digital keys platform. GuestSpace significantly lowers hotel overhead by engaging guests directly and letting them take control of their own stay. The web app includes digital check-in, mobile room keys, in-stay payments, and a suite of upsell tools — all designed to create a seamless end-to-end digital guest journey.

2. How to connect GuestSpace with Portal

  • Go to Portal > Apps — this will display the available apps, including GuestSpace

  • Press "Connect" and follow GuestSpace's prompts to complete the connection

  • Contact GuestSpace support if you need help completing the connection process

3. Important: PMS Connection Scenario

If a property wants to use the GuestSpace app, they should NOT connect their PMS directly to Portal.

  • Instead, the property's PMS must be connected to GuestSpace.

  • GuestSpace must then be connected to the Portal Dashboard.

  • GuestSpace sends all reservation and guest data to Portal through this connection.

Why this matters: If the PMS is connected directly to Portal in addition to being connected to GuestSpace, reservations and keys will be duplicated in Portal — once from the direct PMS connection, and again from GuestSpace passing the same data through.
