Introduction
Managing your device’s settings is essential for ensuring convenience, security, and functionality. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to set key types, enable passage mode, configure the master PIN, and customise other settings in the Devices section of your system.
Go to Devices → Select the device you want to view.
Click on the tab Settings.
1. Set the Key Type
Under the settings, you can choose from the following types of keys:
Door Code
Keycard
SmartKey
Choose the option that best suits your preferences and needs.
2. Master Door Code
Below the Key Type settings, you can configure the Master Door Code.
Important: For security reasons, it is highly recommended not to share this code with anyone. The master code is crucial for maintaining control over the lock.
3. Lock Sound
You can enable or disable the lock sound depending on your preference.
Enable: Get audible feedback when the lock is engaged or disengaged.
Disable: Turn off the sound for a quieter operation.
4. Passage Mode
The passage mode allows you to keep the lock unlocked for an extended period. This is particularly useful when:
You’re expecting guests.
You’re hosting an event.
Enable or disable passage mode as needed.
To enable this option, follow the next steps:
Go to Devices → Select the device you want to view.
Click on the tab Settings.
Scroll down → Enable Passage Mode.
Set Schedule: Choose weekdays and set the start and end times.
Save Changes.
Test: Verify Passage Mode during the configured times.
5. Access Limit
This option allows you to set time-based access to the lock. You can specify:
The times when the lock can be accessed.
The duration for which the access is valid.
This feature is ideal for managing temporary access for guests, service providers, or tenants.
To enable this option, follow the next steps:
Go to Devices → Select the device you want to view.
Click on the tab Settings.
Scroll down → Enable Access Limit.
Set Schedule: Choose weekdays and set the start and end times you want to restrict access.
Save Changes or Revert the changes.
Test: Verify Passage Mode during the configured times.
Notes:
Since offline devices cannot have limited access, we recommend filtering by Connection: Online to get a clear view of the currently connected locks.
If the lock is successfully synced, a tick mark will appear next to this section.
