1. Introduction
Connecting your Property Management System (PMS) is a straightforward process that ensures seamless integration with our platform.
2. Connect your PMS
Go to the Apps tab → Search for your PMS
Select your PMS → Click Connect (This will prompt a permissions request to ensure the integration complies with your system’s security protocols.)
Grant Permissions: Review the permissions requested by the integration. Once you’re ready, click on Connect to proceed.
Wait for Approval: After initiating the connection, the status will update to Pending. This means the request has been sent to our API team for approval. Once approved, the status will automatically change to Connected, indicating the integration is live and functional.
Manage Your Connection: if you need to disconnect the PMS at any time, return to the Apps tab, select the PMS, and click on the Disconnect button. This action will terminate the connection.
3. Sending Door codes to Mews
The system pushes the PIN to Mews based on the property's configuration in Settings → Customisation → Key Activation:
Keychain Start: Sends the doorcode once the reservation’s start time has passed
Reservation Check-In: Sends the doorcode after the guest checks in
new setting added - *Settings → Customisation *****to send doorcodes to PMS (Mews).
Key Activation on Mews Online Check-in
Added a new option in Settings → Customisation → Key Activation that allows keys to be issued automatically when the main guest checks in online through the PMS (Mews).
